In conjunction with the rediscovery and acquisition of this painting, the Museum has produced a book that sets out the art-historical research undertaken on it and also offers a complete description of the restoration process. It will serve as a record of this detailed project undertaken by the Prado, which has brought to light a previously unknown and exceptional painting.
