The exhibition is accompanied by an extensively illustrated, 300-page catalogue. It includes entries on all the works and biographies of the artists as well as two principal essays: “A Short History of the Prado” by Gabriele Finaldi, Associate Director of Curatorship at the Museum, and another on the development of Spanish painting by the exhibition’s curator Javier Portús, accompanied by a summary of the three principal sections in the exhibition.
