The Museo del Prado debuts on iTunesU
The Museo del Prado joins iTunes U, a channel designed to provide a service chiefly to the academic world, with a total of 309 audio files and 441 videos available in each speaker’s native language (598 in Spanish, 92 in English, 25 in French, 20 in Italian, 12 in German and 3 in Russian, Dutch and Hungarian respectively).
The Prado is thus following the lead of universities such as Harvard and Cambridge, museums such as the Metropolitan, Tate and MoMA and libraries all over the world that have their own site on this platform, which includes all kinds of educational material and facilitates searching through a complete system of keywords.
