This is a preparatory drawing of an allegorical figure in a flying position. The study of the figure’s garment is very thorough. This figure corresponds to a composition depicting the allegories of Commerce and Agriculture that is known from the sketches in the Museo del Prado and that has been held in the Museo de Zaragoza since 1933 (P005796) and belongs to the Countess of Barbate Collection in Madrid.
