A vessel formed by four pieces of rock crystal and a gold mount. Seen from the front, the sides rise parallel to each other, while emerging on one side is a fold that forms the spout. The upper plane of the mouth is cut on a slight inclination, with the lip of the spout at the highest point. On the opposite side, a thick S-shaped handle with carved foliage, mouldings and ova rises above the mouth,
A vessel cut in a single piece with no mounts, with a high foot in the form of a truncated cone, a bulbous bowl, an everted neck and a cover with a basket-handle arch profile surmounted by an acorn. The facets with sharply edged arrises are characteristic of mediaeval European work, as are the thick sides and the extreme simplicity of the forms. Arbeteta proposes two possibilities for this piece.
Glove tray composed of nine rock crystal plaques, one in the centre in the form of an elongated octagon, and eight trapezoidal ones around it on a framework of gilt brass, forming an octagonal flange with a crest of pointed double volutes and peaks. The very sober decoration, designed to enhance the transparency of the crystal, consists of bezels that emphasise the angles. Along these are some ins
This piece has recovered its original appearance thanks to the recent identification of its foot and stem among odd fragments preserved at the Museo del Prado. It is therefore now shown whole for the first time since the 19th century. It consists of a shallow oval body with a diminished arch profile and ten lobes on the thick flange, on whose broadest part eight notches have been cut, possibly to
A vessel made up of seven pieces of rock crystal and three silver gilt insets. Its form is very similar to that of a lipped pitcher, with a deep and asymmetrical body, a rounded mouth, and slightly everted sides, the most salient being the one that forms the spout, delimited by two gadroons. It has an oval mouth and a rim on an oblique plane, and a short stem formed by mouldings and a central knop
Vessel formed by a piece of hardstone and a filigree mount. The body consists of a low and severely everted bowl with an oval mouth, polylobulated by the eight gadroons separated by smaller ones which give the vessel its undulating form. Preserved on the round foot is a silver gilt mount with filigree leaves and cord patterns. Until 1918 it had two handles at the ends in the form of volutes, also
The vessel is made up of five pieces of rock crystal and six silver gilt mounts with a double row of denticles and a line of pearls. It represents a dolphin with its body curved and its tail raised. The tail is divided into three sections followed by the thick trunk and head, with the teeth showing in the open mouth. The small transversally placed dorsal fins are joined on with two mounts.
