Meylan, Philippe-Samuel

Le Brassus, Vaud (Switzerland), 1770 - Geneva (Switzerland), 1845

Swiss watchmaker who mastered all kinds of precision mechanical creations, especially clockwork mechanisms and automatons. Between 1811 and 1828 he was associated with Isaac Daniel Piguet, creating the firm Piguet & Meylan in Geneva.
