Agustín Querol had a residence built for him on the Paseo del Cisne, now Calle Eduardo Dato, an elegant area of Madrid which was home to several artists’ studios. It boasted a number of spacious rooms in which he could bring his sculptural creations to life: workshops, an exhibition area, his studio and a private museum housing his major works.
