Alfonso XII

This painting portrays Alfonso XII (Madrid, 1857-El Pardo, 1885), King of Spain between 1875 and 1885, in the Throne Room of the Royal Palace in Madrid. On his uniform he wears the Golden Fleece, the badge of the grand laureate cross and the band of San Fernando, the crosses of the four military orders, the medal of Alfonso XII and the cross of the Teutonic order of Austria.
This is a copy with variations of the portrait of Alfonso XII signed and dated 1884 by José Casado del Alisal and kept in the Royal Palace in Madrid.
