This is a preparatory drawing of a flying allegorical figure on a cloud. Her torso is uncovered. The study of the cloak is very thorough, whereas the rest of the figure’s body is barely sketched. It was a study for the corresponding figure in an allegorical composition known from a sketch in the Museo del Prado (P005797) and another in the Countess of Barbate Collection in Madrid.
