Federico de Madrazo
Ca. 1863. Albumen on photographic paper. Not on display
In 1854, André-Adolphe-Eugène Disdéri patented a camera with several lenses that made it possible to obtain different images on the same plate. This hard copy, which initially must have contained eight portraits intended for business cards, was most probably obtained from the printing of one of these plates. The shots were independent and Federico de Madrazo shows different poses.
