Two other directly corresponding School versions of this drawing are know: one is in the Uffizi, Florence; the second, with the putto top left cut away, is in the Galleria Estense, Modena (inv. no. 661). A variant design showing the same composition but with two further putti, also a School drawing, is in the Louvre (inv. no. 9294).
