Head of a child
XVII century. Red chalk on paper. Not on display
As Correggio in Brun´s (?) collection. Although the type of the child is generically Correggesque, the execution seems seventeenth, perhaps Florentine rather than Lombard. For want of a more helpful alternative, the traditional classification is here maintained.
