Portrait of the eldest grandson of Philip II, son of the Infanta Catalina Micaela. The work depicts a bird that, by its greenish color and general appearance, seems to be a green parrot of the Amazon, although if so it would lack a touch more color. The Prado Museum has another portrait of the same prince (P001264).
