Female bullfighters have been present in the world of bullfighting since its beginning. However, it was not until the 19th century that female bullfighting teams acquired gained significant acknowledgement and there were women who became important figures in the world of bullfighting. This young woman in a bullfighting suit and hat seems to be one of those intrepid women who decided to dedicate themselves to this traditionally masculine art.
