Raimundo de Madrazo in his Paris studio
Ca. 1895. Gelatin / Collodion on paper.Room 060
The painting After the Bath (P002615) - which entered the museum as part of the Errazu bequest in 1904 - is still unfinished in this photograph of the studio used by Raimundo de Madrazo; it must therefore have been taken before the canvas (dated around 1895) was completed. Certain features of the painting can readily be identified in the studio, among them the draped Louis XV sofa and other toilette items.
