This drawing depicts the Virgin seated in the centre of the composition. With the Christ Child on her lap, she gazes at a young angel who kneels and holds out a bowl to her. Behind her, Saint Joseph makes a gesture of amazement. In the foreground, there is a broken classical sculpture. In the background, there is a landscape and a grazing donkey. Above, child angels flutter. Its academic nature necessitates interpreting the attribution as referring to the son of José Camarón.
