Saturnino Esteban Collantes (1847–1937). He was a politician and the son of Agustín Esteban Collantes and of Manuel María Miquel Lucuy. Minister for Public Education and Fine Art, Senator of the Kingdom and State Councillor. He received the title of Count of Esteban Collantes in 1884. He married María Sandoval y Krus in 1875. He wears the uniform of a minister, on which there are Grand Crosses and Medals of Military Merit, the Portuguese Cross of the Order of the Immaculate Conception of Vila Viçosa and the Commander of Charles III, as well as the Legion of Honour. At the top of the portrait, the artist depicted the coat of his arms.
