St. Sebastian
XVI century. Pencil, Wash, Grey-brown ink on brown paper. Not on display
The old attribution to Francesco Raibolini, called Francia (c. 1450-1517), is clearly fanciful. The drawing is surely later, possibly from the second half of the sixteenth century, and it is possible that the handling and technique may have something is common with the work of Bernardino India.
