Emilio Carreras López (Madrid, 1858–1916). A comic and lyric actor. He worked in the 1890s in the main theatres of Madrid, especially in the Apolo. After having worked in America, he returned in 1908 to the company of the Grand Theatre in Madrid. He holds in his hands the libretto of The acrobats (Los acróbatas), a zarzuela with music composed by the painter and published in 1895.
