The prototype for this facsimile copy, to which it corresponds closely in every respect, is a drawing by Cambiaso in the Courtauld Institute Galleries, London (inv. no. 1956). A painted version of the composition, in upright oval format, is in SS. Annuziata di Portoria, Genoa.
