The Corpse of a Female Saint Carried up into the Heavens by Winged Angels

Late XVI century. Wash, Grey-brown ink, Pencil, White lead on grey paper.
Not on display

This is a good drawing. The traditional attribution to Raffaellino da Reggio may be correct, but does not seem altogether convincing. The style seems late sixteenth-century Roman, which is precisely the time and location of Raffaellino´s activity.
