See author's fileIn this Flight to Egypt, Manuel de Castro reveals his affinity for human types drawn from Maratti, although the Virgin’s physical prototype is similar to both Coello´s and Maratti´s, with a well-defined profile, straight nose and wide forehead. The pictorial treatment is also more linear.
