The Virgin and Child, with the Infant Baptist, adored by a bearded monastic saint
XVI century. Pencil, Grey-brown ink, Pencil ground on yellow paper. Not on display
The old attribution is to: SCHIDONE. The style is clearly that of a follower of Cambiaso, and the treatment of the heads, especially that of the Virgin, suggests the work of Lazzaro Tavarone (c. 1556-1641)
