This drawing comprises different studies of several parts of the human figure (an adult male torso, half of a face, two studies of feet and a child’s head).

The Museo del Prado’s inventory of 1879 attributed this painting to Juan Fernández ‘The Mute’ Navarrete. However, it is very difficult to accept this attribution.
