I have memories of many truly impressive and wonderful people whom I have met. I'll start on the professional side. I was impressed by Pérez Sánchez. We worked together quite a long time. I remember he gave me the best explanation on a work of art of my life. They brought us the Saint Rufina, which is now in Seville, and we prepared the technical documentation on that work. I remember I was alone, neither Carmen nor Juani were in. The painting was at the old Villanueva building and the two of us were there. We had the picture, the X-ray and he gave me a master class. I've often spoken about this when asked because I learned an awful lot. The way he explained things—a luxury.
Felipe Garín, who was also around for many years, would stop by to see us every day. I think it was good, I could tell he was interested in what was being done. The best thing was his way of being. He was a very warm person and still is. I have fond memories of those days because the treatment was direct, with the curators and the director.
Member of the Technical Office, she began her work at the Museum thanks to a grant to study and analyze the works of El Greco.
