On the occasion of the exhibition "Only My Strength of Will Remains", which opens on the day the Museo Nacional del Prado celebrates its 200th anniversary until February 16th 2020, Chief Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Museo Nacional del Prado, and Manuela Mena comment "Caprichos" series by Francisco de Goya.

On February 1799 the Diario de Madrid announced the sale of the eighty prints that comprise the "Caprichos" series, described in the advertisement as a depiction of "the wealth of follies and errors common to all of civil society."
