Dialogue “Only Will Remains to Me”: Emilio Lledó and Victoria Camps
Fourth and final dialogue in the series “Only Will Remains to Me: The Drawings of Francisco de Goya”, entitled “Everything Is Lacking: Disadvantaged Old Age”, featuring Emilio Lledó, philosopher and member of the Royal Spanish Academy, and Victoria Camps, philosopher and member of the Council of State, on 30 January 2020.
This series focuses on reflections on Goya’s work through dialogue between two leading figures from the worlds of thought, culture and public life. It is structured around four major themes present in the exhibition, which highlight the continuing relevance of Goya’s work and ideas: violence, violence against women, the condition of old age, and criticism of the irrational behaviour of the masses.
The series is introduced and moderated by the journalist Pepa Fernández.
