On the occasion of the exhibition "Only My Strength of Will Remains", which opens on the day the Museo Nacional del Prado celebrates its 200th anniversary until February 16th 2020, Chief Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Museo Nacional del Prado, and Manuela Mena comment the "Disasters of War" series by Francisco de Goya. 

While this series of prints is based on events of the Spanish War of Independence, the universality of the subject matter transcends its specific historical moment, constituting a fully modern vision of war.
