The Museo del Prado, in collaboration with the Provincial Council of Zamora, has launched the initiative "In a Place Reborn", bringing a total of 15 reproductions of some of its most renowned masterpieces to thirteen towns and villages in the regions of Sanabria and La Carballeda, with the aim of bringing art closer to an area of incalculable environmental value.

One of the reproductions has been installed in the city of Zamora as an invitation to undertake the full route of the project. The initiative seeks to draw attention once again to these natural landscapes which, despite being affected by wildfires last year, retain their distinctive beauty.

The project continues a series of previous initiatives developed by the Prado in which the Museum has sought to offer a different perspective on its masterpieces by taking them beyond its galleries and allowing them to coexist with local communities.
