The Female Perspective: Christina of Sweden
Christina of Sweden is one of the most captivating figures of seventeenth Europe and Baroque artistic culture. Her intelligence, energetic character, and great determination, bring us closer to the life of an extraordinary woman with an exquisite education, who is remembered as one of the leading collectors of the Modern Age.
The Prado Museum treasures the stories of great women who were leading historical figures in the patronage of the arts. The documentary series The Female Perspective brings us closer to these queens, princesses, regents, and governors who made significant contributions both to the creation and consolidation of the Museum and to enriching the collections that we are fortunate to admire today.
