The Museo del Prado exhibits the eight finalist proposals presented as part of the Tender for the Renovation of the Hall of Realms Thursday, December 1, 2016

The Museo del Prado has organised a public exhibition to present the eight finalists that entered the international tender for the architectural renovation and museum adaptation of the Hall of Realms. The winning proposal was presented by the team made up of Foster + Partners L.T.D. and Rubio Arquitectura S.L.P.
The tender, which was announced in the Official State Gazette (B.O.E.) on 1st March 2016, and whose purpose was to choose the team of architects to be entrusted with the renovation of the Hall of Realms, was settled last 22nd November. The winning proposal was publicly announced on 24th November, after the Royal Board of Trustees of the Museo del Prado had been duly informed.
The finalist teams, whose proposals can be viewed at the exhibition, include the following:

- UTE (JOINT VENTURE): FOSTER + PARTNERS L.T.D. - RUBIO ARQUITECTURA S.L.P.
- UTE (JOINT VENTURE): GARCES DE SETA BONET ARQUITECTES, S.L.P. - PEDRO FEDUCHI CANOSA

The exhibition will be held at the Jerónimos Cloister and will be open one and a half months.
