The view is taken from the Son Buit forest and depicts the peak that juts out into the sea is El Terreno. At the edge of the sea, Ca Ses Gerònies can be seen. In the background, the city of Palma can be glimpsed, as well as the cathedral, the fish market and the consulate. In the background and on the left, can be seen the Tramuntana mountain range. Lastly, on the right, the Randa mountain and the sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de Cura are visible.
This work was originally framed as a triptych and featured in the 1908 National Exhibition of Fine Arts (no. 518).
