Ca. 1877. Oil on canvas mounted on cardboard. Not on display
In the foreground, the marshy waters of a stream can be seen. On the banks of the stream grows abundant foliage of flowering bushes, shrubs and large planetrees whose leaves cover a large part of the composition. Further to the right, part of a building can be seen. To the left, over the river is a small rustic bridge which has a single span with some pivots and a stockade fence that marks the passage from one bank to the other. In the background, beached in a dry area, a fishing boat with its sails up can be glimpsed.
