Our Lady of the Rosary in Glory

This is a preparatory drawing for the canvas signed in 1789 and kept in the Chapel of Nuestra Señora del Rosario (Our Lady of the Rosary) in Segovia Cathedral. The Virgin is depicted seated amidst clouds, holding the Infant Christ on her knee. He raises a rosary in his left hand. A young angel holds a basket full of flowers and rosaries.
