This is a preparatory drawing for the corresponding figure on the pendentive of the Regina Confessorum cupola, painted in 1781 and located in the Basilica of the Pilar in Zaragoza. The study depicts an allegorical female figure seated on a cloud facing forwards, holding a palm branch in her right hand. Below, a child angel shows her a sand clock. The Museo del Prado keeps the following preparatory drawings for the other three pendentives: Chastity (D000545), Perseverance (D000590) and Humility (D000537).
The Museo Diocesano in Zaragoza keeps the sketch.
