“Don Quixote" as entertainment in a letter by Isabel Clara Eugenia, and a copy owned by the painter Martín Rico

Live video (in Spanish) with Marisa Cuenca, Head of the Library, Documentation and Archive Department, and Alejandro Vergara, Head of the Collection of Flemish Painting and Northern Schools at the Museo del Prado, discussing two illustrated editions of Don Quixote, published by Miguel de Cervantes in 1605, and a quotation by Isabel Clara Eugenia, Sovereign of the Low Countries, in which she recounts how she amused herself by reading Don Quixote during Carnival in a letter written in 1616.
