The "Women Creators at the Prado" series, coordinated by Noelia García Pérez and Carlos G. Navarro, is launched with a volume devoted to Christina of Sweden (1626–1689), written by Manuel Arias. The book examines the life of this exceptional monarch, regarded as one of the most remarkable personalities of Baroque Europe and known as the “Minerva of the North”.

The series forms part of "The Female Perspective" programme and is co-published with Sílex Ediciones.
