This is a preparatory drawing for the figure of an angel in the upper central part of the fresco on the interior cupola of the Regina Santorum Omnium, located before the Holy Chapel and its Coreto in the Basilica of the Pilar in Zaragoza. The Museo Diocesano in Zaragoza keeps a sketch for the fresco. The study depicts the angel in a flying pose. Moreover, the study of the drapery is very thorough whereas the figure is barely sketched.
