Venus in her Carriage
XVII century. Pencil on laid paper. Not on display
Venus is depicted naked, in a carriage made of shells that floats between clouds and beaming rays of light. She appears surrounded by cupids and doves.
The attribution of this drawing has not been determined. However, it is clearly by the same hand as those signed by Vicente Salvador Gómez.
