Santiago Frías worked in the museum’s management for a long time and he was a great servant and really affectionate, a lovely man. Let’s just say that Santiago was the one who opened all the doors at the Museo del Prado. Santiago opened up everything, all the hidden parts, and we always relied on him for everything, not just amongst the supervisors, but also in management and amongst the caretakers. It was Santiago who opened and closed all the doors. He brought so much to his job because he was a man who gave everything. He didn’t care how long he had to be there or what he had to do. You could say that he was one of the individuals and members of staff who has been most important to the Prado. And he was a great colleague.
She began working at the Museum as a waitress, then going on to work for gallery security, with a brief period of time at the admissions desk.
