I would like to set aside a few words for the most important aspect of the Prado. The paintings are undoubtedly the most important thing, but I would also like to say a few words about the people who work at the Prado, people whom we are sometimes unaware of. They are the ones who really keep the Museum alive. The Prado is maintained by those who come to see it and pay for entrance tickets, but it is also maintained thanks to those who carry out the work behind the scenes. We must express our gratitude to all these people. They are very good, extremely devoted to the Prado and they are extraordinarily professional.
