Augusto Comas y Arqués (Madrid, 2 February1834–San Sebastián, Guipúzcoa, 18 August 1900). Jurist and treatise writer on Civil Law. He was a senator of the Kingdom for Valencia. Father of the art critic and painter Augusto Comas y Blanco (Valencia, 1862–Madrid, 1953).
