In those days there were very few of us working at the Museum. We all knew one another. We had some lively chats, especially the restoration bunch. The restorers were the oldest employees, elderly figures who were also painters. It was a totally different kind of life, very amiable. Later on, new people began to come whom we didn’t know.
He joined the Museo del Prado as an art photographer, working there for four decades. He is the son of David Manso, the Museum's first police officer and also its first photographer.
