For me, hearing the words "Prado Museum" makes me proud. It's always been that way. After so many years I still feel that way. It is so fulfilling, because, having studied Art, working at the Prado Museum is the summit. You have the opportunity to see the things you love all life long, you establish a rapport with the works of art, they are almost at your disposal. In other words, the Prado Museum as a building, as a collection and, in many cases, all the people I have known at many different levels. That is what I find essential, being able to relate with people who I consider wise. Relating and having them tell me things directly, two things that are usually quite different. And then the opportunity to travel, to see other museums coming from the Prado Museum. That's how I felt in my first trips to Mexico. The pride of belonging to an institution that I consider the summit—at least that's how I feel it.
Member of the Technical Office, she began her work at the Museum thanks to a grant to study and analyze the works of El Greco.
