On the one hand, it’s really good, because you have a great time; but, on the other, it’s difficult, because you have a certain conception of the work, you know what you want to do, and when you work with another person, even if it’s your sister, their way of seeing the work is different. So you have to reach a consensus for the restoration to go ahead, without any conflicting criteria. Agreeing on something like this is more difficult, but the truth is it’s all very pleasant. I’ve had a professional career in which I’ve really had a marvellous time.
She joined the Museo del Prado at a time when the Restoration Workshop was being reorganized, then becoming head of the same from 2003 to 2007.
